  When I asked for help with my marriage because my husband at the time was abusive, I was told to pray for my husband. When that wasn't working, they told me to pray harder and to have faith. The man they saw as my husband was totally different from the man I lived with behind closed doors. They took the abusers side. Church can kiss my butt.
