  Our family have been faithfully attending St. Paul's for almost 20 years and our beliefs as Catholics to help where and as much as possible both physically and monetarily in life and at our passing. We believed our church would never turn away someone in need regardless of the situation. Our daughters family has a close friend who also attends the church albeit sporadically. The friend hit on hard times both personally and monetarily due to separation, job, etc. Our daughter suggested the woman seek help from the church both spirtually and monetarily for a modest sum of $600. After going to the church the woman, feeling ashamed, crying felt she was made to feel she was looked down upon. The person, persons response was we don't help people with money and right now we have an earthquake in Ecuador that we have to help with but you can get some cans of food from the donated food. At that point the woman said I have been coming to church here on and off for several years. Oh, the person well you will have to talk to someone else. As one could imagine she refused to return. We learned about the situation several weeks after it occurred and we are very disappointed in the churches brash, insensitive response to a woman in need. It has changed my wife and I's feelings towards the church and we are rethinking our future plans on what if anything we will leave directly to the church. Lastly, I must add, week in week out our parish brings in hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations. Very concerning.

  We passed by this church driving thru Greensboro (to better churches) many times, and as a kid I thought it was a Japanese steakhouse because the roof was so weird! Didn't look like a Catholic Church at all. Following that, not a fan of the revisionist architecture-looks like they finally got a proper crucifix. And no kneelers?! Come on! Still, not a terrible place to worship.

  We were here for the Boy Scout Pinewood Derby. Very clean large church, with a nice Gym
