  This church has stand the test of time and is still such a resource for the community. Although the membership is average, the participation by the surrounding community and churches is superior. There is a variety of activities that happen outside of Sunday church service (9:15am). But everyone is welcome anytime the doors are open. I would say if someone is looking for a church, you will not find better people then those right at Holmes Grove UMC. The pastor is Rev. Dr. John Henry Jr.
